Nobl9 is now in ChatGPT and Claude

Nobl9 is now available as an app in ChatGPT and as a connector in Claude. If your team already uses either one as a working assistant, you can now ask it about your own reliability data and get answers from Nobl9 in the same conversation.

What you can ask

Once the app is installed and you have signed in with your Nobl9 account, your assistant can read your services, SLOs, error budgets, alerts and connected data sources. A few prompts to start with:

  • Which of my services are closest to failing their customers right now?
  • Explain the most recent alert on the checkout service and whether it was worth the page.
  • Which alerts fired this week, and which ones mattered?
  • Draft a 99.9% availability target for the payments service and show me before you apply it.

What it changes, and what it never changes on its own

Asking questions alone never changes anything in your organization. When you ask the assistant to set up or change a target or an alert policy, it drafts the change, validates it against your organization, and shows you the full definition. The assistant sees only what your own Nobl9 account can see, and you can disconnect it at any time, from either side.

How to install it

In ChatGPT:

  1. Open the Nobl9 app in ChatGPT and choose Install.
  2. Sign in with your Nobl9 account when ChatGPT asks.
  3. Ask your first question. Mentioning Nobl9 in the prompt helps ChatGPT pick the app.

In Claude:

  1. Open Nobl9 in the Claude directory and choose Connect.
  2. Sign in with your Nobl9 account when Claude asks.
  3. Ask your first question in any chat.

Both run on the Nobl9 MCP server, so the same connection works from other assistants that support the Model Context Protocol. Setup details, the full list of what the server can read and write, and troubleshooting are in the documentation.

If you don't have an active Nobl9 account, but want to try the MCP, you can request an account here.

If you try it, tell us what you asked and what came back! The new prompts and creative use cases are what shape the next version.
